what is the law as far as parking in the circle on Skyglen trace.

I would recommend that you send an email to Sgt. Rafael Fernandez(MNPD) at: rafael.fernandez@nashville.gov
and ask him if there's anything the police can do.

I hope that Sgt. Fernandez may be able to shed some light on what kind of parking is allowed in that small turn-about on Skyglen. It's not really large enough to be considered a "cul-de-sac", so I'm not sure since I don't see it clearly defined.

Sometime Monday night between 11pm and 7am Tuesday morning our car was broken into right in front of our house. It’s very disturbing and we just want to make sure everyone is aware of what’s happening during late hours in our neighborhood. Please be careful, keep car doors locked and do not leave anything of value in your cars.

Jbfranklin, thank you for letting us know. I have passed along the information to our Neighborhood Watch. You are correct, it is very important to "Park Smart" these days. Car break-ins are happening all over Nashville.

My Home was broken into !
I came home last night too find that someone had broken into my home thru the back door ! Location Canoe Ridge Point, Oak Highlands. From what we can tell, it was a single person ( since we found a single set of foot prints on the back deck, we still had snow ) By the looks of the prints it could have been a about a size 7-9 shoe. The person could have been on foot since the big stuff like TV, Computer, Lap Top, Stereo was not taken. They made off with about $1500.00 worth of stuff : 2 Movado Watches ( one silver , still in the box// one Gold and Sliver ) an unopened Black Sony Noice Cancelling Earphones // an unopened Apple TV// my old passport // some foreign cash, left overs from travels abroad // a jar full of quarters // this is all I’ve seen right off that missing. I’m sure they were in and out fast. I know it had to have been later in the evening , since the bed room light was on when I got home. What’s done is done, but if anyone saw anything out of place last night on Canoe Ridge Point, pls report it to metro police. Let’s all look out for one another pls. . I have reported this information to the police.

Hello Everyone, something that I wanted to bring up. For the most part we all know who lives in our streets the the homes near our own. So, if you see someone/something out of place, let folks know. Don’t be afraid to ask , hey what are you doing in my street. Let’s look out for each other.

I am concerned that a neighbor who is renting a house in our neighborhood is dealing drugs out of the house. If this is the case, it may explain some of the recent break-ins as that type of activity brings unwelcome spectators to the neighborhood.

Please report suspected drug activity anonymously to: http://nashvillecrimestoppers.com

Hello neighbors Saturday morning at about 4:15am 2 individuals were going around my street (streamdale PT. E) pulling on car handles. This is the 3rd time this has happened on my street since November 2018. Wish we could get a neighborhood watch patrol drive by on from the hours of 1am-4am... I'm willing to pay a little extra on our fees yearly to accommodate for our saftey in the neighborhood.
April 08, 2019 at 5:19pm
When you see this kind of thing, please call the police...immediately!

If anyone is willing to drive through the neighborhood between 1am-4pm, please contact Neighborhood Watch at the number above. Thanks!

There's a boy driving around our streets like it's a race track! Little turd comes flying by all ours of the day and night with no regard for anyone else's safety. Everyday he speeds up Ridgefalls Way toward Canoe Ridge Point were I suspect he lives. This is a serious safety issue, and has to STOP! He's driving a Nissan 370Z, black with grayish color rear bumper and loud obnoxious exhaust. I'm interested in hearing what others on here have to say about this menace.

Please report aggressive drivers that you've witnessed to:

If that doesn't yield results, please contact Sgt. Fernandez at rafael.fernandez@nashville.gov or (615) 880-3182.

I live on Brian Circle, and Wednesday of this week a heavy set caucasian male rang my door bell in the morning and returned again in the late evening. The first time I didn’t see a vehicle. But the 2nd time he was in a dark car and parked across my drive. He appeared to have a backpack. The following evening he returned with another male, parked the same way, but they were in a Dark vehicle similar in style to a jeep.
Was wondering if anyone had noticed these men on the street or in the neighborhood?

Hi Queen1953, nothing of this nature has been reported to HOA management. I will forward this information to our Neighborhood Watch.

As a reminder, if you see something suspicious, please immediately call the Police Department, Non-Emergency: (615) 862-8600.
